California, made real

KND is an independent California apparel brand, born in San Diego in 2024 — tees, hoodies, jerseys, and hats designed for people who spend time outside. Every piece starts as an idea worth making, not a trend worth chasing.

Shaped by the coast

Ocean light, faded color, surf culture, palm-lined streets — the everyday textures of Southern California show up in our fabrics, colors, and artwork. It's less a theme we chose and more the place we're actually from. You can see it most directly in the Break Series, where each tee is named for a real surf break on the San Diego and Orange County coast.

What we make

Our New Arrivals change seasonally, but the core stays consistent: heavyweight tees, relaxed hoodies & knits, jerseys, and hats, with washed, faded finishes on many pieces for a lived-in feel from day one.

Who makes it

KND's regular collections are designed and directed in-house. Some pieces feature original hand-drawn artwork by Anna, who contributes designs to specific releases, including our Limited Edition series.

Kindness, creativity, confidence

Those are the three things we design around. Kindness in how a piece is made and how we treat the people who buy it. Creativity in original artwork instead of copied trends. Confidence in wearing something because it feels like you, not because it's loud.
