KND GUIDES — BREAK SERIES
The Break Series, Mapped: Four SoCal Surf Breaks, North to South
KND's Break Series is four tees, each named for a real surf break between San Diego and Orange County and each part of what the pages call the KND SoCal Surf Guide. This guide puts the four on one map, north to south, with where each one is, what its print shows and what the printed coordinates refer to.

The artwork on all four is engraving-style, and each print has a compass with the coordinates set under it. The "What the print shows" column is taken from each tee's own product page.
Trestles
The Trestles Surf Tee is the northernmost of the four. Wikipedia describes Trestles as a collection of surf spots between northern San Onofre State Beach in San Diego County and southern San Clemente in Orange County, named after a railroad trestle bridge over the path surfers walk to the beach. The coordinates printed on the tee are the ones Wikipedia lists for Trestles.
Swami's
Swami's is in Encinitas, and Wikipedia describes it as a point break located there. The coordinates on the tee are close to, but not the same as, the ones Wikipedia gives for the Swami's area (33.0346° N, 117.2922° W). The San Diego Beaches Tee lists Encinitas among its seventeen beaches.
Cardiff Reef
Cardiff is a community within the city of Encinitas, and Wikipedia names Cardiff Reef as a popular surf spot there. The coordinates printed on the tee, 33.0208° N, 117.2792° W, are the ones Wikipedia gives for the community of Cardiff-by-the-Sea as a whole, so they locate the town rather than a point on the reef.
Black's
Black's is in La Jolla, a community of San Diego. Wikipedia describes the beach as a section beneath the bluffs of Torrey Pines, and the KND page marks the coast from Torrey Pines to La Jolla Shores. The tee's coordinates match the ones Wikipedia lists for Black's Beach. Torrey Pines and La Jolla Shores are both on the San Diego Beaches Tee as well.
One fit, four tees
All four tees are cut the same way and share one size chart. Each is 100% cotton at 400 g/m² (11.8 oz/yd²), which the pages describe as heavy and structured, holding its shape rather than draping, in a boxy, oversized fit with a drop shoulder, a round neck and short sleeves. Sizes are unisex S–2XL.

The size chart is measured flat, with a tolerance of about 1 in / 2.5 cm. At size L the pages list a 27.17 in / 69 cm length, a 24.02 in / 61 cm shoulder, a 25.59 in / 65 cm chest and a 9.25 in / 23.5 cm sleeve.
